Justice League: Doom
DC Animated is putting out Justice League: Doom.
Doom is based on Mark Waid’s Tower of Babel story, which finds the members of the Justice League under attack by their enemies. This time their enemies are armed with secret knowledge about each Justice League member. It seems that Batman has been building contingency plans to use against each member of the Justice League if they were to ever turn bad. Somehow the the Legion of Doom manages to hack into Batman’s files and use this info against our favorite heroes.
The best part. The Justice League gang is back together again, well for the most part. The cast includes:
Kevin Conroy as Batman
Tim Daly as Superman
Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman
Michael Rosenbaum as Flash
Carl Lumbly as J’Onn J’Onnz
Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern

I’m always excited when they can get any of the old band of Justice League voice actors to return to their roles. But mostly, I’m overjoyed whenever Kevin Conroy returns as Batman. In the last 50 years, only WB animation has given us a Batman that’s accurately characterized the way he is in the comics – as something far greater and more heroic than an insane killing machine. And in all the years of Batman, animated or live action, Conroy is consistently the best of the best. By comparison, having the rest of this ensemble cast is just icing on the cake. Hopefully the movie is worthy of their endeavors.
