New Clone Wars Tonight
After a brief hiatus and a lackluster (re: a little too political) beginning to season 3, Star Wars: The Clone Wars airs tonight on Cartoon Network. The 2nd half of the season showcases new animation models for the principle characters, reflecting their journey towards Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and marks a turning point in the action. Tonight’s episode is the first of a three part arc showcasing the Nightsisters (Sith witches), the backstory on Asajj Ventress, and our first real look at Sith training via a new character: Savage Oppress, the brother of Darth Maul!
Edit: I’ve been made aware that Savage Oppress himself doesn’t appear until next week’s episode, but as a side note, he is voiced by fan favorite Clancy Brown.
